IMST offers two 24 GHz FMCW SENTIRETM Radar modules. The first one (sR-1200e) comes with integrated patch antennas while the second module (sR-1030e) is equipped with three coaxial connectors for external antennas. There are two receive channels/antennas with I/Q information and one transmit channel/antenna. The FMCW mode allows the measurement of distance, angle and velocity of target.

Both 24 GHz FMCW SENTIRETM Radar modules are available as developer kits (DK-sR-1200e and DK-sR-1030e). Each kit comprises a radar module, PC software and Android App with graphical user interface and Ethernet interface for user-friendly startup, testing and application specific integration of the radar unit. The software SenTool allows parameter settings and visualization of measured radar data. Typical parameters are detection range, resolution, frequency bandwidth, output power, radar signal shape and duration.

Customers who intend to integrate such a radar module without housing into their own application (like an UAV) can order just the stack of three boards (sR-2101 with patch antennas).

Customers who want to “fly” with the radar module and make measurements from the air may order the UAV system (sU-1201) which is already equipped with a radar module, a gimbal and a suitable control and data transfer unit.

Several accessories are available for the radar products. Especially a selection of external antennas (horn or patch antennas), cables and mounting brackets are offered.
